Hi!
My name is Cristina. I am not going to be here next year (I'm moving!!), but these are some things about me. The piece of work that I am most proud of is my autobiography. I put a lot of work into it and it is something that I have been working on for most of the year. It also tells a lot about me and I have enjoyed making it. I think that my greatest challenge this year has been with my homework. I don't always stay focused on my homework. I keep taking breaks so it takes me a long time to complete my homework. I also sometimes leave things to the last minute. I occasionally hand in pieces of work late, but only once in a while. I learned that I am not very organized. My locker is usually pretty messy and I only really clean it when we are having a locker check. I also learned that I leave pieces of work to the last minute a lot of the time and have to rush to finish them, so they don't always turn out my best. The last thing I learned is that I forget things very easily if i don't go over it. I think that my participation in classes could definitely be improved. I am (in general) a very quiet person in school. I don't always participate in classes. If I know the answer to a question, I sometimes raise my hand, but if I think I know but am not sure, I don't usually raise my hand, which I am sorry about because I turn out sometimes knowing the correct answer. My first goal for 7th grade is definitely to participate more. In group situations, I don't talk much, even if I have something to say. I think that, in 7th grade, I should take chances and raise my hand when I think I know the answer to a question and try to talk more and join in when I am working in a group. I also really think that I should improve my organization in grade 7. I should try to through anything that I don't need in my locker away and try to clean it all out once a week (maybe on Fridays). Some other information that I would like to tell you (or ask you), is if you will please write the homework on the board every day (or tell us), and also post it on the b.b.s. so that I can double check it and I sometimes and forget the homework that you tell us to do so I can check the b.b.s.,however, my b.b.s. is sometimes down. Thank You.
good bye:D

I can make a difference!!

I know that there are many ways that I, myself can make a difference in the world. There are, of course, some things that I can not control, but I believe that there are many more things that I can do for our planet, than what I can not.

One of the ways that I can save our planet is to follow the three "R's". Reduce, re-use, recycle!! I can take some things that can be recycled to ISKL, where they recycle objects. Because I have a brother and a sister, some things that I use could later be used by them. Things like clothes, toys, and school materials. My whole family can try to reduce our use of paper too. We can try not to print things off the computer if they aren't important, and use the backs of papers. In doing that, we don't have to buy more paper and we are helping to save trees. Trees are very important in the world. Not only do they give oxygen, but they are also the home to many animals.
Another way that I can help is to reduce my use of electricity and water. When I leave the room, I can remember to turn off all of the lights and the fan (if it's on). I can also try to remind my siblings to do the same. My family can also try not to watch too much television and definetly not leave it on when no one is watching. If we don't need that many lights on, we can turn some off aswell. There are many ways that my family and I can reduce our use of water. We can take shorter showers and never leave the sink on when we aren't using it.
A huge way that I can make a difference in the world is just plainly talking to my friends about it. I can talk to them about ways that they can help save the earth, and some issues in the world. Then they would probably tell their friends, and their friends would tell some of their other friends, and soon many people would know about some of the problems that the earth is facing and how they can help make a difference.
It may not seem like much, but if you just follow the three "R's", reduce your use of electricity and water, and talk to people about different ways that you can save the world and worldwide issues, you can make a difference in the world.
