5 Months In 6th Grade

I chose these words in the picture to describe my first five months in 6th grade. I'll explain why I chose some of them. I chose the biggest word (change) and I made this word the biggest because I think that would be the first word that comes to mind if you mention 6th grade. Change. 6th grade is very different from elementary school. There are lockers, longer classes, and different uniforms. There is also a lot of different food being sold and you bring money to buy the food, not cards. Those are only some of the changes that occurred in 6th grade. I also chose the word responsibility. There are many responsibilities in middle school (probably even more than in elementary school.) You have to be responsible and get to classes on-time. You also have to take care of your belongings (that could go under organization which is another of my words). Freedom is another word that I chose. There is a lot of freedom in 6th grade. Freedom to buy your own food. You can walk to classes alone and do whatever you want at lunch (well, maybe not EVERYTHING you want to do but you can do a lot). Another word in big letters is challenging. Middle school is a bit challenging. You have to remember some locker combinations, find your way around the school, and always do your best. All of these words (and more) describe my great experience in 6th grade so far.

What can we do to help save more animals?

There are many things we can do to help save more animals. One thing we can do is put advertisements for the SPCA. That way more people may find out about it and want to adopt an animal or help out. We can also bring animals that are hurt or in trouble to the SPCA. Another thing we can do is donate money to the SPCA. That way they may be able to take care of more animals because they could buy more cages. Something simple we can do is just talk to other people. Just tell them that they should take care of animals and report anyone who treats an animals wrongly. Those are some ways that we help save more animals.

WHAT QUALITIES MAKE A LEADER?

There are many qualities that are needed in a leader. A leader is someone who is caring. They have to care about others and consider their opinions. They also have to enjoy what they are doing. They probably won't be a very good leader if they don't like what they're leading.  They have to think about what's best for others too. A leader also has to be someone who doesn't give up. If they want something to happen, they have to fight for it. A leader inspires other people. A leader is someone who is brave. Brave enough to stand up for what they think, brave enough to give their opinion, and brave enough to try to make a difference. Mother Theresa was a leader. She really cared about the poor people she as helping. She did what she did because she wanted to. She also didn't give up. She kept helping the poor for a long, long time. Later on, other people began to help the poor with her. She inspired many people. That is why she was a leader.

What Courage Means To Me

To me, courage means trying something new. I showed courage when I auditioned for a concert. I played the piano and I ended up getting chosen. I have never played the piano for an audition before so that was different for me. The real concert hasn't come yet but it is soon. It will be something very different for me when I play in the concert. But courage doesn't always have to be something that you do alone. It could be something like starting a group with some friends to help an orphanage. It could be going on Malaysia week. There are many different examples of courage and many involve trying something new that you are scared of doing. If you're scared of doing something new but you try it anyway, you could end up helping people, helping the world, or having the time of your life.

My blog

Hi! My name is Cristina. Some of my hobbies are reading, playing piano, and drawing. I like the Harry Potter series. I was born on September 26th so my birthday was a few days ago. I swam in Piranhas (a swimming club) during 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. My favorite color is purple. My room is even painted lavender. I have a dog and used to have a rabbit. My dog is black and white and my rabbit was black. Those are some things about me.
